SSE Airtricity wins on the double at inaugural Awards

SSE Airtricity was delighted to scoop two prestigious trophies at the inaugural Awards at the Mansion House in Dublin last night.

The company bagged the overall award for Best Customer Service, which was partly decided by a public vote, as well as the award for Best Online Customer Support Team., the online price comparison and switching service, designed the Awards to celebrate excellence in customer service and value across a variety of industries in Ireland.

SSE Airtricity saw off competition from Electric Ireland, Flogas, Pure Telecom, Sky Ireland and Virgin Media to claim the awards, which were announced by RTÉ’s Joe Duffy.

Commenting on SSE Airtricity winning the awards, the judges said: "They showed a big willingness to go the extra mile for their customers, using every medium to communicate with them. In short, they are certainly delivering on the company’s core values that revolve firmly around the customer. Customer service is clearly embedded into the overall company vision and they demonstrated a good use of technology and quality monitoring to maintain this."

Back in November, SSE Airtricity's Customer Service team won Customer Contact Centre of the Year (Medium) at the CCMA’s Irish Customer Contact and Shared Services Awards. The company was also proud to pick up the Green Energy Provider Award at the 2017 Green Awards in Dublin in February.
