SSE Airtricity Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Logo.jpg

SSE Airtricity is once again proud to be partnering with Ulster University and South West College, two of Northern Ireland's top third-level institutions, for our fourth annual Scholarship Fund.

We have so far invested nearly £300,000 through the Scholarship Fund, which is directly supported by the Regional Fund from our nearby Slieve Kirk Wind Park, Northern Ireland’s largest wind farm.

The SSE Airtricity Scholarship is open to students from Co. Derry~Londonderry and Co. Tyrone, and covers approximately 50% of their fees for applicable courses at Ulster University or South West College. While the funding is available for a broad range of subjects, including business, media and design, there is a particular emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. Through the Scholarship programme, we're working with Ulster University and South West College to create greater awareness and diversity in STEM subjects, and to ultimately increase employment in those areas in Northern Ireland.

The 2017 SSE Airtricity Scholarship is now open for applications and students are urged to apply before the closing date on Friday 20 October
